Average montreal team on capfriendly

Created by: Cardiac
Team: 2023-24 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 25, 2022
Published: Jul. 25, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
First off you have to have the team as a 2023-2024 as it is a must for the habs to have won the 2023 draft lottery despite the fact that the best their odds could be us 18.5% and have Connor bedard come in as a key contributor for this team.
Kirby dach is automatically signed to a 2.5x2 deal because he is worth no more or no less than that
Despite the fact that caufield is the lord and savior of this franchise, he signs a very team friendly bridge deal so it allows montreal to make more completely realistic moves
Carey price? Place his 10.5m cap hit on LTIR. On a real note I really hope he plays again as he is a hell of a goalie and he is really a stand up guy. I’m rooting for him.
Huberdeau- sign him to a monster contract as he is all but a guarantee to sign for montreal next off season. He also takes a pay cut to play with the habs.
Jarry- obviously he won’t want to play with the pens as they are a poverty franchise and jarry will only want to play in Montreal and again takes a pay cut to do so.
Not to mention there is 10 million in cap space to sign aho to this team in 2024.

I feel Huberdeau is gonna get paid big

Probs looking at what Gaudreau made if he hits open market. But if he stays with Flames probs Forsberg deal

Isn't the hometown discount from players going to MTL related to production and in turn the team gets to pay them well, raise expectations of course to get the fans excited, but in the end it's the team doing the players the favor?

If he gets 30G and 90+ pts, he probably could get 10-11.5m (somewhere between Gaudreau and Panarin which is where he is in points in the last 5 seasons) on the open market IF teams have the cap, and Pastrnak doesn't hit the market. I wonder if Kane will get 9m+ if he's not going to Buffalo.

If even Dvorak and Savard don't do the trick, then just wait for PLD to enter FA. That easy it is.

I said it was satire. It’s a joke. I don’t give a **** about the values.
