It is true. The 1st partially makes up for this, but if it is true that the Avs are trying to free up some space for Kadri, then this would be one way to help do it.

the 1st doesn't come close to making up the difference.

kadri isn't affordable to the avs after this season even if they move girard.

Give me a break Abramov is worth next to nothing considering the Avs have at a minimum 3 forward prospects better than him in Olausson, Kaut and Ranta. Girard is worth at least Sandin and the 1st, so the Avs just give away Newhook. Delusional.
