I don’t think the value is terrible but I don’t see why Toronto does it. They have an abundance of LD and trading Nylander opens up a pretty big hole in that top 6

Can't see the leafs entertaining this. They lose any trade that they deal nylander in.

Value is definitely not equal for the Leafs. We are giving up a core player for an LD which is a position where we already have a log jam. No thanks

The leafs do not need defencemen.
They especially do not need left defencemen.
The leafs actually need an additional forward for the nylander line.
So no, it's not close
