Yeah, good chance this is how it goes down but I’ll be really bummed if they trade beau over bailey.

Would also love the room for sonny milano, which they can also do if they trade Bailey $5m instead of beaus $4m.

But all in all, accurate

I’d rather them trade Bailey too but it would be much harder to get rid of him

If Beauvillier got traded to fit in Kadri, the most likely outcome will be Kadri falling off a cliff and only putting up 40-45 pts. Beau would break out and put up 55-60 pts on his new team.

This is Devon toews 2.0 - the isles will be the joke of the NHL next season when analysts all over the league wonder why the isles traded a young beauvillier to give 7 mill to a 3rd line center.

I know a lot of fans who wouldn't renew their ticket plans because the isles are becoming a country club for washed up vets. I personally haven't gone to a game since they signed Chara, UBS should be empty if this organization keeps making Milbury-eque moves like trading Toews and Beauvillier.

I didn’t renew. Not when tix are 10% the price on StubHub. Was section 308.

Most fans don't realize how catastrophic next season will be. I just hope ownership wakes up when they realize that theyre paying Kadri 7 mill to score 2 goals through his first 41 games.

Unfortunately I do think Beau will be the odd man out because he can bring back the most value due to age. I wish people would get off Milano just because he is an LI kid. Dobson has to either accept a 3 year bridge to when is UFA status hits or takes less $$4 and go 5+. Romanov gets most like 4 x $2.5. Assuming they want to tie Dobson up versus bridge it will look like 5 x $5.5. If Dobson wrongfully tries to hit the homerun for $7m plus after only really one good year than they will move him because he will instantly bring the most back. They will not give Dobson any sort of 7 x$7 deal nor should they. Guessing Kadri does not get over $7m because Lou will unfortunately give most term so 5 x$7m seems right. At the end of the day Bailey should go due to the cap hit and Beau providing youth in today's type of game but again I think beau has most value. If they could get Varly to BUF, who wants to compete, for Comrie and maybe a pick or two than that would really help. Depending upon where they stand at the deadline - Pageau, Varly & Clutter are all pieces that would be heavily sought by playoff teams that could bring good value and space for years to come and let's not lose sight that 2023 first and second round picks around the league are viewed as extremely important in what is one of the deeper and better drafts in years. The biggest break NYI could catch before the year starts is if a major contender were to suffer a goalie injury now or camp. Varly value and contract would be gone and fetch a good return.

I agree with this, but I think Beau is still movable. It just can't be as a dump like what Toews was.

And what would you say he’s moveable for?
