Description
As much as it would help, Trouba and Goodrow realistically aren't getting traded. If Garand isn't ready to be backup next season then I guess it would be Domingue but I'd rather not. We have a lot of young wingers on the come up so Blais, Reaves and Hunt re signing wouldn't make sense from a development or a cap standpoint.

NYR
  1. 2024 5th round pick (CGY)
CHI
  1. Gauthier, Julien [RFA Rights]
  2. Hájek, Libor [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Any team, any return for either of them

  2. 2024 3rd round pick (OTT)
CHI
  1. Chytil, Filip [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
I don't see us keeping Chytil and whatever production he has during this season really determines what his value is, again any team that needs a young center applies here.

  1. Bourque, Mavrik
  2. 2023 4th round pick (DAL)
DAL
  1. Kravtsov, Vitali [RFA Rights]
  2. Lundkvist, Nils
  3. 2023 3rd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
I have seen Dallas fans rate Bourque highly but IDK if this is an overpay or an underpay

Tbh that’s an underpay and a half for bourque. From a third party stand point, the stars are getting screwed there. I think adding in a first round pick on top of the current package could get it close. Bourque is objectively a top 25 or top 30 prospect right now. Think you’re trying to trade for Dylan guenther or Matthew savoie. That’s the value I think he would get. Ideally bourque is traded to improve the stars right now as that’s normally what prospects of that caliber are traded for.

I've maintained for a while now that any Bourque trade has to involve Braden Schneider or the Stars walk. Both are high-end prospects (top-6/top-4) with a solid past couple years of development. If Lundkvist is the key piece in a NYR/DAL trade package, then Dellandrea is the key piece going back to New York.

I agree with this but Krav makes it interesting. Also after our recent draft Nils might fit what we need better than Schneider. I know the talent level for talent level argument still stands I’m just thinking out loud
