not even close, colorado is in win now mode so this doesn't even get considered for that reason, plus you didn't even include any of your top prospects. This would require powers, cozens and more

I think the entire Buffalo roster at 50% retained salary still doesn't get it done.

MacKinnon won't be leaving Colorado. Not to mention he has a modified NTC, and there's no way Buffalo is on his list of teams he'd accept a trade to.

I for one think it's pretty fair at face value. If you rule out that it wouldn't happen because McK isn't leaving Colorado because of obvious reasons, it really is pretty fair. Or maybe two firsts, Savoie, Cozens, Portillo and Jokiharju?

If for whatever reason there is a falling out between MacKinnon and the Avs I think I would take this deal, but as long as MacKinnon plans to extend in COL they should keep him and try to win more cups

Savoie and Krebs are both top prospects in the Sabres system. The value is there imo, I know its not going to happen. Pretend Mac wants too much money and Colorado doesn't want him walking for nothing.

Sure just tell him there is a guy named Devon Levi in the pipeline who will be better than anyone they have had in Colorado since he's played there. For the interim a UFA goalie could be signed too. Plenty of cap space.

Really? Why not? Closer to his hometown, a very good young core with exciting prospects and potential. Not to mention a team offering him 12 mil a year long term, heck I could throw a few more mil at him per season if you like, got plenty of cap space.

I respectfully will not carry out your request

I think the trade I made offers more value. Lots of people see Cozens and Krebs as pretty similar in value. Johnson will be a better player than Joki and will be NHL ready by next season. Furthermore they get Mitts with retention and a 2nd. I got plenty more prospects I could give them too to make the trade. A guy like Rosen for example
