You are a pure troll if you think Tanev is a cap dump. He's easily one of the best shutdown defensemen in the entire league

Pathetic offers for both Bratt and Tanev.

And both Calgary and New Jersey hang up the phone.

That is horrible for Calgary. 30 other teams easily out bid this by giving them positive value

And what is the asking price for Bratt then? That's a first and two seconds, with the first is likely to be a top 20 pick.

From the Ducks the trade would likely have to include one of Terry, Zegras or McTavish, which Ducks likely would have no interest in.
I don't see a Bratt trade between the two that'd make sense for either team tbh.

Terry is out, as frankly I think he is a better player. They had nearly identical years points wise, but Terry had more goals. Zegras is right out, as he hasn't reached his potential yet, and McTavish is supposed to be a beast.

It would make no sense for Anaheim to move any of them as they are our core guys for the coming generation.

With that said, New Jersey are in basically the same spot, but a couple of years ahead, so there is likely no trade that makes sense to both teams, rather we need to trade out our still useful veterans to teams in closing windows for their young guys that can add to our rosters, like Pittsburg, Boston, Oilers, Panthers, anyone in win now mode.
