It wouldn't even occur to us to trade our best RW last season for a third-line LW, a seventh defenseman and a future third-round draft pick. The only place we need improvement is at LD, and Jon Merrill isn't it.

yeah that is going to be a no from San Jose. Trade a big potential middle sixer for a depth scorer is not a trade the sharks should make.

Scorer is a stretch, depth is barely accurate hes an average bottom 6 at best.

Not true! hes going to the Barracuda next year and the Sharks sometime between camp and the start of next year!
then hes going no where for a long time lol.
Coe is EXACTLY the kind of guy Grier wants on his team.
