MTL
  1. Dubois, Pierre-Luc
Additional Details:
Habs arent gonna give up top prospects for anyone. This trade replaces Dubois with someone worse but adds a top 6 that they need. Unless they plan on playing Appleton or Lowry on the wing, theyve got no one to play there.

Not sure what kind of feedback you're looking for here. This kinda trade's been posted already. Dubois to Habs is tired, he doesn't make sense for their timeline, Habs have zero to offer WPG, yadda yadda yadda. Move on, post something new.

Not sure the jets would want the term on anderson, this is pretty close, jets probably hold out for the Florida first or mtl second at very least, and possibly drouin or Hoffman over the 5 years of anderson. Pure speculation though, not sure what Chevy is currently smoking that this team all of sudden wakes up as a contender.

Your logic makes no sense. Why would they replace a legit 2nd line centre for a barely second line winger. The jets aren’t trading Dubois to Montreal. Especially not for a dog poo return like this.

Unfortunately for Montreal fans and their fantasies, there is no chance the Jets trade Dubois for a collection of garbage. Things like that just don't happen.

Are you unable to read? Jets get a 2nd line center in Dvorak (good for 40-50 points) and a 2nd line winger in Anderson (good for 20+ goals)

Yall Jets fans need to get it through your heads, hes not resigning long term and unless the Jets blow it up completely (includes trading Ehlers and Connor), theyll want roster players. Also no team is gonna give up their top prospect or a 2023 1st rounder for a player they cant guarantee to sign long term.

Teams give up more than this every year at the deadline. Look what Florida just paid for Ben chiarot at the last deadline.

I absolutely agree with you, he’s not staying. But why would they trade him to the one team that’s going to pay the least for him because they know he wants to go there and even if they did trade for him they aren’t making the playoffs so it doesn’t matter. Stick to your little rebuild and sign him 2 years.

An actual competitive team will make an offer that trumps this by the deadline because winning now is more important than prospects.

But sure, keep adding more and more mediocre players to these trades and maybe Chevy will do it… wake up
