For the record what I meant by half of that wasn't half of those pieces exactly just more or less roughly half the value of that return. I think I'm the only Jets fan on here that doesn't think they're going to get a good return for Dubois, he and his agent sunk his trade value, this idea that they'll get a better return at the next trade deadline or next summer seems like folly to me, gawd I wish they'd just trade him already so these awful Dubois trades on here will end.. lol

It’s just that Dubois is not anywhere near Barzal’s level. Dubois basically produced at the same level as Barzal, but Dubois has Kyle Connor and Barzal has Zack Parise…

Also I value Raty very highly cause he’s produced in Finland, he’s produced during his short stint in the AHL, he is currently producing at world juniors and the kid had a good showing in the preseason last year. I wouldn’t trade him for a headcase.

Raty got passed on by basically every team in the league. I’m not gonna fault them for taking Chibrikov since I like him. I’m just more surprised that people are unwilling to accept the fact he’s a legit prospect. Like yeah he fell in the draft….. that says less about him then it does about NHL GM’s. I hate to say it but it seems like Lou’s front office has been doing pretty good at the draft the last couple of years.

Yeah I like lambert a lot but I wasn’t comfortable with the isles drafting him because if he didn’t work out everyone would say he was only taken at 13 cause of his uncle. Ofc Lou traded the pick so it doesn’t matter now anyway.
