Sens giving up 2 very good B prospects. As a Sens fan I would take the deal as Severson is exactly what we are looking for. My only concern is does his next contract fit our long term cap siruation.

I think this could work for all teams involved. Might be minor picks added but that's minuscule

As Devils fan, I think we could get some quality assets for Severson at deadline. But I think Senators have pieces that fit our needs.

The problem is value is around equal, but for Vancouver it’s just making a trade to make a trade. It’s pointless

...Senators fans do like...

As Devils fan, I think we could get some quality assets for Severson at deadline. But I think Senators have pieces that fit our needs.

I think if Rathbone doesn’t find a fit in Vancouver, this is a reasonable swap. As of right now, Rathbone has the higher ceiling, and the Canucks weren’t willing to trade him for Marino

Its for Severson (and Severson is going to Ottawa).
