Elaborate. What don't you think is good. Don't be vague.

It's hard to fairly look at these moves with soo many pieces moving around. Just looking at oilers trade first problem in my opinion is the retention have a tough time seeing Montreal do that given the term remaining.

I had some questions right from the get go here but then it just got real messy the further down I went.

MTL won't retain with term remaining, doesn't fit their plan at this stage so they'll simply ride it out.

7-8 pieces for 1-2 pieces rarely happens as most teams aren't looking to dilute their asset quality with quantity, sure the value may end up similar but these kind of trades are best reserved for chel and not the NHL. You've sent 15 pieces to PHI for 3 pieces here, don't think that one has a chance of happening.

Cap space isn't really that valuable for MTL this season since there are so many expiring contracts this year anyway (Drouin, Dadanov, Byron, Allen) and a few more expiring another year later which lines up perfectly for this rebuild.

I like Hart but I don't think that's the package to make that happen, I also don't know if he'll be the guy to bring a team to a cup honestly.

It's nice to see some out of the box ACGM-ing, this is just a lot to assess and way to many moving parts to be really sure on anything.

For some reason, after a dozen lopsided trades, you were able to create an even bigger problem at RD.

Basically all the trades involving huge cap moving to the other team. Why does EDM need Anderson for example?

Or ARI team that is tanking, why would they trade for Dadonov and Gallagher? Or why would CHI who also is tanking / rebuilding trade for Hoffman?

This make zero sense for those teams. Why would SEA who just acquired Bjorkstrand trade him for two cap dumps?

Edmundson and Drouin at 50% are not cap dumps. Edmundson is an underrated player. Arizona can flip Dadonov, and Gallagher is yet another dump who can play in Arizona.

The thing is ARI can demand 1st round picks to take on those contracts. Because to them it doesn't matter if MTL is willing to pay the price or not. They just want to load up on high picks.
Not doing other teams any favor's

It just keeps getting worse with you Habs fans. In the beginning it was Just Allen to the Knights for like a 3rd. Now you want a prospect, a young defenseman who is signed to a great contract for 6(!!!) years, a 3rd round pick AND we're taking on Savard. You've completely lost the plot I'm afraid.

And yeah it's kinda ridiculous how many teams you have taking on your ****ty contracts without you guys having to give a single pick, like the trades with Arizona and Chicago for example. You can look up Arizonas trade history for the past 6 months, they will not do you any favors. They want picks to take the ****ty deals on now, not potentially later.

This wasn't made to be realistic that's for sure.

That Seattle trade is laughable, Francis is never doing that.

if sharks had cap space they would do that deal but we’re tight as is and need to move a goalie and a D man or two as is.

Sharks definitely don't do that, Hoffman + Karlsson is a no-go.

Instead of trading players to the Jets, why not just pick up Kovacevic off of waivers at the end of training camp.
