The Sabres didn't want mrazek when toronto was trying to move him. He was awful last year, he makes more than you'd like, and the Sabres have comrie, Anderson, and upl to play goal. I think your best bet is to play mrazek and see if he can be reasonably competent outside of the fishbowl that is toronto. He's making too much now because he was awful, if he's even sorta ok, somebody may take a shot at him. 3.8 a year for two years isn't as bad if he's average. May have to retain or take salary back though, there's not many teams looking to just take salary off your hands.

Sure Buffalo will take Mrázek, just add Chicago's 2023 first and Buffalo will give you their 2023 2nd, similar to the trade from Toronto.
