Even if this were to happen theoretically, Capitals would toss away any shot at a cup contending team for very long time after Ovi,Crosby,Giroux,Carlson retire.
With that roster 1 maybe 2 real shots at the cup if your lucky then a very long rebuild lol

Hard pass on all three trades. And I mean HARD.

Crosby one is definitely leaning hard on the penguins in terms of long term value, but they’d pass on this too. They would never trade Crosby to the caps.

There's nothing there that catches Winnipeg's attention. Iorio is an RD, but doesn't appear to have top pairing potential.

There would need to be a LOT more first round picks going back to Pittsburgh for the Pen's to trade Sid... and then double it since it's the Caps.

That's not really how it works in real life. You don't just pile on first round picks to make a trade go through, it's not NHL 22. This trade just doesn't happen.

The difference between Kuznetsov and Crosby is not equivalent to two top center prospects and a first round pick. You're talking about the difference between an 80 point center in his prime and a 100 point center on the decline. Take away the names and replace it with the stat line, age, and contract for each player, you'd think it's insane to see two top prospects and a first round pick going one way.

Yes it was an exaggeration... Obviously, it doesn't work that way in real life (but this isn't real life)... all I meant is that it would cost the Caps a major overpayment to get the Pens to trade Sid. it would take an overpayment for ANY team to get Sid, but especially the Caps or Flyers.
