Dvorak would still be the 3C for Vancouver so I doubt it.

Also think you're low on both Romanov and Dobson contracts. Friedman said that Romanov will come in at around 3 mill, Dobson will be a "big number"

Don’t know if we want to pay Dvorak 4.5 mil to put up 30 points a season

I heard those. Assuming those numbers are true it implies both guys are coming in with term. Not necessarily a bad thing I just don't see how Lou could have clamored for "hockey trades" and "improving the forward group" just to roll out the same lineup. Sickening actually.

Lou should have been fired when he didn't trade Varlamov + clutter before the deadline. I don't even think he made an offer for Debrincat or Fiala, we had the assets to acquire one of them. Isles don't need another 30+ winger, this shouldn't be a country club for players to relax on the downside of their careers.

My guess for Romanov is 3.15 mill x 5

Dobson 6.85 mill x 7

Habs ain't doing it, definitely not this year... maybe if he has a mediocre season again they'll do it but they ain't trading a C for a winger, not happening. Value is also not there to begin with

I think all things being equal, Montreal would prefer the center over the winger.

I like Dvorak. I like the first. It’s still missing a high end piece. Van decline
