well done overrall maybe a few changes
LW- Panarin isn't number 1 his point production looks good but his game but his actual impact on the game isn't as good as it once was. i think i have him more around 4 or 5

darnel nurse shouldn't be top 10 he is terrible defensively and his offence highly revolves around how well he shoots. he is physical but tends to take himself out of the play a lot because of his over aggressiveness. His passing and play driving is rather average that is why edmonton tends to opt with bouchard or barrie over him on the PP1. Also for a guy that doesn't lead the PP1 or isn't even their main defensive playdriver he averages a lot of turnovers.
outside of last season where he shot at a ridiculous 10.4% and had 36 points in 56 games he's been about a career 3-4% shooter and has averaged .44ppg since 2017-18.
He is almost the Left handed identical version of rasmus ristolainen and i still can't understand why he doesn't get as much hate as risto
Nurse's contract is strictly based off 1 outlier year where he put up great offensive numbers yet still sucked ass defensively and edmonton is gonna pay big time for his contract.

Cause Risto has been sh*t forever and Nurse is at least "decent"
Is worth 4-5 million
People **** talk Lou but at least he can get his D-men signed to good value contracts. Just uh not those vets

if you actually look at the stats, ex. points, hits, blocked shots, shot percentage and even risto's advanced analytics from his "better" days in buffalo they are very very very similiar one outlier is that Risto averaged about 20-30 less turnovers per season. Risto also played for a much weaker buffalo team where as Nurse has been on a PO team for 4 of his last 6 seasons

I think you could argue Guentzel over debricat in terms of consistency guentzel has been the far more consistent producer and it's not like the seperation in linemates was much different. Guentzel had crosby and rust and debricat had Kane and a little bit of toews before injury when he was still relevant and the also strome who is an underrated playmaker

Good player but who would you have him over? Robertson or Cat are the only one who he might be on the same skill level. And I feel when it goes from the the top 6-12ish most of the players are very similar in skill and could either go up or down in a season

Guentzel had more points than Marchand, Robertson, and DeBrincat. He’s not better than Marchand. But 100% better than Robertson and Cat. Guentzel is probably one of the best scoring LW in the entire league. Look how well he was doing in just the first round of the playoffs this past year. Dude finished with 8 goals in 7 games and the leader was Kane with 13 and they played 3 rounds.

Slavin is easily a top 3 LHD. He is the best defensive dman in the league, and he puts up good offensive numbers as well.

lol choosing risto's 3 worst seasons i said risto in his "best" years is comparable to nurse in his best.

meaning risto from 2015-16 to 2018-19 compared to nurses 2017-18 to 2021-22.

even with choosing risto's worst seasons he wasn't even that much worse

-nurse had 15 more games and 700 more minutes yet only had 4 more 1st assists out of his 33 more points
- nurse's shot % is inflated by his 1 10.4% shooting season so that also is a stat that would be much closer
-rush attempts and rebounds created are very close yet risto playing less games kinda showing some of their offensive capabilities are similiar
- nurse also almost had 100 more giveaway's in 15 more games played,

again risto played for a terrible buffao and philadelphia squad where nurse has had a PO team that including mcdavid and draisaitl which surely helped increase his production. Im sure if they switched teams the stats would be again a lot closer also like i mentioned in my previous comment you choose nurses 3 best years vs risto's 3 worst

I simply chose the most recent 3 years, which is what any intelligent person would do.

ya but i think you mis read my previous comments where i said nurse is basically just prime risto so i don't undertsand why nurse gets better reviews. also with the stat comparison you just showed me nurse ain't even a whole lot better then risto in his worst years further proving my point that Nurse has no right being on any top 10 list but the "Top 10 most overrated players" and "Top 10 worst contracts".
