Yeah I have to agree with you on this one. I don’t think Miller makes sense for the isles, but I know he’s still worth a first round pick, a young-ish player and a decent prospect. I just can’t figure out what level of player or prospect he should fetch lmao.

I’ve always preferred him at center tbh.

Boston accepts. However Van does not do that.

1st/Zacha would be a good starting point. Deciding on the rest of the package becomes problematic for both teams.

What if it was Gostisbehere with retention instead of Stecher?

Do they though? Miller isn't a need anymore with Bergeron & Krejci back. Idk if the cap space even works.

Hypothetically only.

However JT can play any FW position. Big upgrade over Zacha who is also on an expiring contract. And with Bergy and DK working year to year and a nice replacement with a reasonable extension.

The biggest issue would be both teams are over the cap to begin with, be hard to make it work. And Boston would be hard pressed bordering on impossible to be able to extend both Pasta and JT.

But Zacha is expected to be on the 3rd line when everyone is healthy. Would you play Miller in the 3rd line? This deal also have him coming with an extension, so he could walk at years end. If it's nice that he could be a replacement next year, but he's slated to be a UFA and you could sign him without giving up assets.
