Clifford signed a two year contract under 800,000......not so much to be a Leaf but the he can sent to the Marlies with no cap implications. I really think Clifford wants to live in Toronto and kinda "coach" the young Marlies and maybe be an emergency call up. Certainly he will be on waivers if any team wants him. But I really doubt his value now as an NHLer.
