I just found this one interesting because Garland and Hanifin have the exact same, and oddly specific, cap hits. I wanted to see the opinion on their value relative to that. I like Garland a lot, but feel like Hanifin, being a defenseman who had close to the same number of points, might be worth more. Not sure. I am a Flames fan and I know fans tend to overrate their own players, so I try to undercut them when making proposals.

Anyway, Flames could use a top 6 RW and have defensemen to burn. The Canucks look like they could use another good defenseman. I added the prospects to kind of tidy up the depth charts (D and forwards balancing out). Plus, Jett Woo is a former Hitmen and just has a kick ass name... lol.

Value is fine but the Canucks don’t need another LHD. They probably try to get Anderson but I assume he’s untouchable. Maybe Weegar although that’s probably something that involves Miller instead of Garland (with other pieces and retention to even things out)

Hanifin > Garland
Andersson is untouchable
Miller is probably too expensive to resign

This is weirdly reasonable considering Flames fans are never reasonable. (pew pew)

But year we need Myers to move out before we pick up a D and it needs to be a RD.
