Yes. Seattle is going to use 2/3 of their retention slots, one of them long term, to get your cap casualties and a future 1st round pick.

This makes no sense for the Kraken to do. Besides, the likelihood Gourde gets traded is very low, considering his cup experience and his versatility. And Kraken won’t use 2 retention slots to take on the Leafs cap rejects.
