I think Chicago takes that provided there's no baggage coming with Formenton (which we obviously can't confirm at this point).

At this moment, CHI declines. In a world where Formenton isn't linked to sexual assault or a future where he is determined to have not been involved, I think the value is there.

the point is not that he has been accused of any charges yet, but, he's on the short list of people who could be accountable. and its not just him specifically. I dont think anyone who is on that list is going to be sought after in the near future until this is resolved

At this point there’s just gonna be an argument and yes it sucks to see this about at the end of the day it’s businesses for sports teams like this. Like for example Evander Kane he’s a jerk, he’s done a lot of bad things but oilers still wanted to win. Unless the nhl could ban him? Well, maybe some teams would be ok with it, but a big part of the reason CHI started this tear down and rebuild was because of their own scandal after what happened to Kyle Beach came to light early last season. Plus, a rebuild was long overdue for them and there was no way around it. But they are trying to bring about a culture change with in the organization. Bringing in someone like Formenton, if he was involved, would be the exact opposite of that.
