It's amazing the mix of "Muzzin is a solid veteran defender" combined with how many Leafs fans aim to trade him away in any fashion they can.

I'd like to see the rest of the Muzzin/Kane trade. Toronto still has all their 1sts, Knies, Hirvonen, Sandin and Niemela. You have to figure at least the 2023 1st and 2 of the 4 for Kane.

All that are never going to happen. Even in his final season with his 15 teams list l think not positive though. I believe that after his contract is up he will sign a team friendly with the leafs. He is big on his family life and really doesn't want to go anywhere.

Perry is probably gonna retire, kampf is not a fourth liner same as jarnkork, Tavares is not a winger, don’t even put him on the wing, he wins most of the faceoffs, Robertson isn’t even a third liner, I’d just put him on the fourth at this point - only if he hasn’t proven himself yet

Point is there is no "Muzzin" trade in 22/23. He has full NTC, and is there any reality at all that he would agree to leave his good team, his "hometown" for a non playoff team where he has no roots? Sorry, IMO these Muzzin trades are delusional. Even his 15 team NTC in 23/24 makes a trade virtually impossible.

Absolutely. Muzzin will be with Toronto no matter how many TML ACGMs try to move him. I'd just like to see his Muzzin/Kane trade where Toronto still has their top 5-6 assets, trade Muzzin and get Kane.

Just for cap reasons, I can't see a Kane trade till closer to TDL. And even at that Kane has a NMC. IMO even if Kane agrees to a trade, he would certainly want to go to a top contender. So Kane can wait and "pick" his team(s) And it makes sense for the buyers too. First you only want to give up good assets if you're a contender, and would only want to trade for winger if that's your biggest need.
