Eakin was the worst player on the Sabres last year according to some of their fans. And that's saying something given how bad that team has been. Pass.

Stone, not a bad option.

Not sure Milano is the style of player Bednar likes.

Remember what fans said about JJ and Helm before they came to Colorado.
Stone is a good call up guy/Eagles could really use him. or Hunt and him try for the 7th spot
I think you're right, but he would be a great fit on the 3rd line. Burakovsky replacement

Bednar coached Milano in the AHL(as well as Pratt and MacFarland was the GM of the Monsters at the time). Milano was one of his top offensive talents and one of his more frequently used fwds when they won the Calder cup. I think its safe to assume Bednar understanding Milano and his playing style wouldnt really be a concern

I hope you don't mean as a 2C lol

He's not very good, especially defensively, but I guess depth at 3C wouldn't hurt.

Very good point. One would think that they'd already have signed him though if they know him so well and were actually interested.

no no, just as a depth guy as the 13th fwd. We know that Cogliano and or Helm will be injured at times this season with the way they play. He would be a 4th liner

I do see that side of it as well, but I always wonder if they have him cooked up with a PTO with the thought of signing him later, which is why hes still unsigned. They didnt want to commit to a cap hit right now bc I think the Avs are still sniffing around with other moves

Do you think he plays the style of play that Bednar wants fr a 4C? I'm not sure he does. He'd be better suited to a scoring line like in Minnesota.

I am trying to find his micro stats, I came across it on twitter recently and it was interesting. I found his card from the end of last season, his defensive metrics seems promisingly which is why I first thought of him as a sneaky PTO candidate.

not knowing his game indepth, at a glance it would appear he is successful in a manner that would work with how Bednar deploys his 4th liners
