I, myself, don't think that's enough for Noah Hanifin.

I might not disagree, but, what else would you put in? It's no secret Carolina is stacked with d-men, and they need forwards. If you take out Bozak, who do you add? Or is it just adding another draft pick in there?

If they move a guy like Hanifin it wont be for a package of okay forwards and a pick, it will be for one of the leafs young guns.

It would take William Nylander to get Noah Hanifin.

And once again JVR+4th doesn't come close enough to getting you Cam Fowler.

It probably could have been a higher draft pick, but it's not like JVR has no value, and Anaheim HAS to trade a dman. He's a 25-30 goal scorer almost every year, and before this year, its been on a terrible team.

Nah. Hanifin's spent his 2 pro years on the 3rd pairing and has shown very little improvement. Not a chance he gets even close to Nylander's value.

Dmen always take a little longer to develop, but the fact he was able to step right into the NHL as an 18 year old and stick for two straight years, he for sure will project to be REAL good, hence why I would love to pursue him. The thought of the Leafs almost taking him over Marner makes me cringe.
