The only reason I do this is because it has been reported that Guerin has quietly shopped Dumba all off-season, and TOR is the only name of a team that has shown any interest. It has also been reported that when Nylander was holding out, TOR offered Dumba for Nylander straight 1:1, so there has been interest there before.

I'm not a mittelstadt fan, even still there's nothing in the mittelstadt trade that makes me wanna move him.

I was trying to stay away from picks, I would value Beckman at like a 2024 3rd and Hunt 23/24 2nd, if that gives clarity over the value I was putting on him.

I am sure there was, but that was 4 years ago. i am sure there is interest but you wont get lilly for him, it wouldnt make the team any better.

So that being said, if you were to take Liljegren out and put Holl in, since he would have to move as well, would you be willing to part with a prospect or picks?

A couple months ago when I was more active on here and not knowing what the wild were going to do on the blue line, I thought the best deal for both sides was Holl, Kerfoot, Knies/first for Dumba 50% retained

Kerfoot and Timothy aren't worth dumba, peart and 3rd round pick alone. What ? Kerfoot is a cap dump, and Timothy barely has value, while you are giving a late 1st in dumba, top d prospect for two nothing pieces

Liljegren barely has value? He is signed 2 more years at 1.4M, an RFA at the end of it and arguably a better player already than Dumba....

Have you seen him? He has barely made a bad leafs roster. Do your research about him. Kerfoot is absolutely a cap dump and would be an expensive 4th liner we don't need.

Respectfully, dumba isn't a cap dump. Guerin doesn't see him as so either. Then you are giving away a highly top 2nd round d prospect for what?

Do my research, like that his Corsi and Expected goal differential were both significantly better than Dumbas last year, they have been growing YoY which shows he is developing, which as a 23 year old, is what you would hope for? That type of research? And yes, Kerfoot is a cap dump, but it's one year and then he is gone, there is zero reason not to do it just because he "is an expensive 4th liner"

A player I will respectfully say again can't, and hasn't made a bad leafs roster, and you are giving away a good player still in dumba, and top d prospect for what reason?

If you see dumba as a cap dump, I will respectfully disagree with you. You don't give away a highly drafted dman because you want to dump dumba for Kerfoot and a player who to date hasn't made leafs roster, and isn't a top leafs prospect, and to think he would come close to Minnesota.

How you see a player who has barely played in NHL, and mostly in AHL over a regular NHL dman in dumba who was wild best dman is not understanding. ?

He's not playing over
Jacob Middleton/ spurgeon
Jonas brodin/ dumba (Calen addison)
Alex G , Jon merrill (Calen addison
Carson lambos
Jack peart

He played 61 games last year, I would consider that making the roster, so first point, wrong.

Dumba is not a cap dump, never did I say he was, but he is not going to be able to re-sign in Minnesota after this year with the cap crunch and the Wild will not be contenders, so why would they hold onto him if he has value.

Third, Have you heard the names Jared Spurgeon, Jonas Brodin and I would also argue Middleton as well, are all better than Dumba and the first 2 aren't even close. Also, you are putting Addison in there, who actually HAS NOT ever made an NHL roster or played significant NHL time, i.e. 61 games last year for Liljegren.

Then take out jack peart. 2nd, don't know where I saw this, but someone posted stats showed dumba was better than Minnesota other dman

Obviously Dmitry kulikov was traded to give Calen addison every chance to make roster. Minnesota can keep dumba for now and still trade him @ deadline if Minnesota sucks.

kerfoot would be 5th in scoring on that team so if he is a bum so is the rest of the team you cheer for.

Oh leafs fan not knowing anything about wild. Kerfoot would be a 4th liner. The points he got was because you have no depth and who he played with

The top 4 in Minnesota are top 10 in the league, yes, odds are Dumba will be moved by the TDL so they do not lose him for nothing after this year. 3rd pairing for the Wild, probably 17-20th in the NHL with Merril being the high end of that and Addison dragging it down as he has never proven that he is able to play consistent NHL minutes in all of his stints in the NHL.

If Minnesota is in playoffs spot, dumba will not be traded. We all have seen that Guerin has been willing to take those chances

There is a big difference between in a playoff spot and being a contender, if they are a contender, yes, they probably keep Dumba, if they are a pretender, Dumba is as good as gone - there is also a large part of how Addison plays, if Addison shows he is ready for top 4 minutes, Dumba might as well pack his bags
