The top three forward lines will get somewhat equal ice time so there no real 1st, 2nd or 3rd line

Maybe people are finally starting to understand about Pinto? Damn I have to repeat myself so much.

And I also have been going on about Ridly Greig for 18 months already lol

Greig - Stutzle - Batherson would be deadly as soon as Greig gets comfortable. But seriously wonder if we wouldn't waste his talent NOT at Center.

We might have 4 high end centers on our hands

And heck, maybe Ostapchuk too but I see him more as a Winger at least

I see him as Phillip Danault and David Backes hybrid

And frankly there's some Bergeron in his game but every fanbase compare their 2-way centers to him so I'd rather not. Even Habs fans did it with Suzuki

Reminisce to Patrice Bergeron, Pinto has a higher ceiling

Level of delusion with SENs fans is hilarious tears of joy . Comparing Pinto to Bergeron, never mind implying he could better…I feel for you guys when reality hits that your team and players are ok but not that good

He plays a lot like Ryan Hartman, imo, to give you a more realistic comparison.

Pinto's just good across the board at everything; his biggest weakness is his skating, but it's not even bad it's just not especially explosive. His vision is outstanding, so when you take someone with all the tools - a sturdy body, great stickwork, a fantastic shot, excellent passing - and you pair it with his IQ, he's got the upside to be a special player. I think his lower comparable is Mike Fisher-esque, a reliable all-zones middle 6 C who can do whatever you ask of him and put up ~45 points. It's hard not to look at someone like Bergeron as his upper comparable because they play such a similar game, but that's primarily a stylistic comparison. I think his ceiling is more like a ROR type, but a lot of things have to go right for that.

I read hundreds of Sens fans and it's literally the first time I see someone say higher ceiling than Bergeron... so calm down a little?

Actually, in his profile it says Canucks and Oilers fan tears of joy

Looks like you're the one who is hilarious

They will need him to reach the cap floor if they move Chychrun. I feel like the value added in the deal should be enough given we dont actually need to move him this seaosn.

Small Sample size vs large but look at the similarities:
Pinto 6'2" 192 lbs, Bergeron 6'1" 196lbs
Bergeron 1.05pts/game in QMJHL before NHL, Pinto 1.14pts/game in NCAA College Hockey
Pinto 0.58pts/game NHL first season, Bergeron 0.55PTS/Game NHL first season
Pinto Drafted #32 and Bergeron drafted #45

Similarity is eerie
