Dallas won't trade him but that's not close anyway.

Random throwins too make it better than a offer sheet and 8 million cheaper, not going to do it. Dallas In a mess with aging rapidly expensive benn and seguin.

Dallas is probably asking for Lucius + 2 1sts to even start the conversation. Add from there. They’ve had success with Russians so maybe one of Chibrikov or Rashevsky goes.

Hopefully get a instant peak reaction, and not hold on to him too long, jets window and bowness window might be equal at 2 years ish

Honestly he might work out well there. Jets have the established talent already in place. If Peg can keep scoring while Bones concentrates on defense and details it could be a very good fit. He did a nice job coming in after Monty. But he was still using a lot of what Monty put into place. The season following the bubble you could really see his lack of offensive knowledge. He absolutely killed our transition game. He’s a good defensive coach and PK coach, but past that he’s lost imo

Ya I’m cautiously optimistic there’s some good stuff ahead, without a tear down. I just pray mediocre doesn’t become acceptable and a continued bubble squad. We some how traded places with the wild. Dal has a beauty start with tender and dman, just need to navigate through Benn and seguin contracts without subtracting Robertson. Looking forward to a wild central. Colorado should come back to earth a little and St. Louis should have aged a little so possibly some chaos from 2/5 in the standings.

I think you’re right on the money hoping Bones will help short term. Just pray he isn’t the long term plan. And I could be wrong he might not be the offense killer I think he is. Was hearing that he decided on the defensive system in Dallas because he didn’t think he had the team to skate with other teams in the league. Which is funny to me as we’re keeping up with Rado as we speak. Struggling with that top line tho. Kinnon is insane
