No they are looking for cap dump and teams to take advantage of. Not a Pearson type. So no , we aren't

I am assuming you are moving Pearson to get under the cap.....otherwise the Wild have no need for Pearson we have been keeping an open roster spot for our younger players but also once Greenway gets back from injury there wont be any room for more FWDs. Hard to believe BG would pull the trigger on this trade I don't think it fits into his vision.

You should do research about wild. Didn't realize you were wild reporter or gm. Minnesota has been saving space for top c..not some Winger, bottom Winger also where Minnesota is full....

It doesn't have to be mini. I've just seen they want forward help and thought that could be it. I don't think that pearsons value is terrible so it really could be moved anywhere

It was reported that the BG might try and snag a FWD from a cap strapped team (could be the reason why he gave Kulikov to ANA for nothing) but I think after training camp and seeing some of our prospects the need to get another FWD has cooled off quite a bit. But if the right deal or if we could steal a good player from a team for next to nothing and BG thinks it will help the team then yeah the Wild could grab another FWD but I think as of right now its highly unlikely.

You kept saying all last season they didn't need a winger or a dman and they ended up getting a winger and a dman at the deadline. You have no idea what you're talking about.

As for the trade, the biggest issue is Pearson has next year on his deal left so that's probably a deal breaker. The Wild will need cap next summer to extend Boldy and if he has another good year, that could get expensive. Otherwise, Pearson is probably the type of veteran deadline help a team like the Wild would go for if they're loading up for a playoff run.

I think an example of the situation Guerin is looking for is a guy like Kerfoot if they can acquire him in exchange for Vegas Legend, Future Considerations.

Pearson would have been 5th on the Wild in 5v5 points last year. Lets keep pretending like he is bad player if you insist.

And let's keep pretending wild need him. We don't need Wingers. Canucks fans can't as seem to understand anything about other teams. Yeah our 3rd line is Joel Eriksson Ek, greenway and foligno. So how about no!!!!

It's almost amazing no team including wild are helping another team with cap problems. Wild run 4 lines so it doesn't matter that you think getting points on Canucks team is same as Minnesota
