We'll score 3-4 goals per game but allow 4-6 goals.

All kidding aside I think the Habs will win more games than people think. Lots of vets with a few talented kids. They played much better under Marty.

This team should be better and should contend. Look at the money they are paying guys? It's tough to tank when you can barely get under the cap.

I have legitimate confidence in Dadonov that he will be able to play top six minutes with Caufield and Suzuki. I think you should just healthy scratch Drouin. I don’t see the need for him since he’s been dealing with injuries recently. His contact is bad as well. If you don’t healthy scratch him just waive him.

I think you let Slafkovsky play top six mins with Dvorak and Anderson. Give him 9 games and then he will go down to the AHL.

I would like to see Pitlick get top 9 mins. 3rd line IMO will be Dach Pitlick and Gallagher.

4th line to start will be Hoffman - Monahan - Evans. You could put Monahan into the top six so he gets some extra value. You could then trade him at the deadline.

I could see Guhle playing with Savard. You want him to progress well. I’d want Matheson to start on line one. He was solid in Pittsburgh. The last spot is still a question mark. I think Wideman and Harris play on line two and Xhekja gets the last spot. Once Edmundson comes back, Xhekja goes down the the AHL.

Matheson - Savard
Harris - Wideman
Guhle - Xhekaj

That’s what you would do, me I did the lines on what St-Louis might probably do
Dadonov have played worse than Drouin and he is on the 4th line right now with Pezzetta and Evans
Guhle played 4 games with Savard in preseason and matching other teams 1st line
