    Yeah I guess it could be any other team, return won't matter that much anyway but I assume he'll be retained and moved if he shows he can play at least a little

    I find it very unlikely that you get positive value out of Dadanov and Monahan. Both players were on FAR SUPERIOR TEAMS last season. I highly doubt that they are going to have a good year on the dumpster fire of Montreal

    It’s a big IF on the good season. Personally I would have traded Weber for Dadanov. LTIR space= cap dump trades

    they don't need "good" years. Dadonov's value in that trade is super low, Monahan's still isn't that high either. Look at past deadline deals where players were traded for a 2nd or a 3rd and tell me it's unlikely they play good enough to be worth that.

    When was the last time a player was dumped for a first round pick, then traded for a second round pick in the same year? It just doesn’t happen
