I'd say so, in a bubble Palat is high end 3rd line talent in my opinion and was playing with elite players/play drivers.

We play all 3 of our games against the Devils this season within a 6 day stretch in March. Who dafuq scheduled that?

Dom's model shows Hedman and Setgachev having the same value now. I'm going to miss prime Hedman.

What does that said value look like? Good, bad average?

Sergachev has improved and Hedman has fallen off quite a bit.

Dom uses GVSA as his value metric.
Hedman was 4.4 end of last season (3.4 expected)
Sergachev was 1.7 (1.6 expected)

This season they're both 2.3

Walker's translated pretty much all of his production from college to the AHL.
22 points (11G & 11A) thru 21 games.

Recall I liked Guttman more than Walker last season.
He had a concussion early in the AHL season but currently has 10 points (5G & 5A) thru 12 games.
I would suspect given the current state of the Blackhawks that he could see NHL action this season as well.

There's times I'm annoyed by how ineffective he is/looks, but then there's times like the past 2 weeks he reminds me he's the only guy on the team remotely close to being able to do some of the things he does.

Interesting nugget from Smith was that we only offered Walker an AHL contract by us last season.

Now while I wasn't super high on Walker compared to Guttman, I don't see how we didn't sign him over MacArthur.
