What .akes you think he walks? Yzerman has time to resign him. I find it funny that everyone is going to leave Wings as they are getting better. Again what makes you think he is walking?

Avs decline. No Bertuzzis in Colorado please.

Value here could be interesting if the dude wasn’t a pending UFA. Avs would be unlikely to afford an extension and would lose a cost controlled young player like Girard.

Is Bertuzzi able to play games in Canada yet? If that’s still an issue, that’s probably a deal breaker. If the Avs make another run, they are very likely to play some variation of Calgary/Edmonton in round 2-3 of the playoffs.

1st, yes the covid vac in Canada is over, so he can play there.
2nd I doubt Yzerman trades him for LHD as they have several prospects in the system. He will trade him for a top prospect forward and or top picks

Issue is that Bert is Canadian. Currently, anyone entering the USA has to be fully vaxed. Bert can go play in Canada but, he wouldn't be allowed back into the states. I may be wrong, but I may be right.
