I agree with you on Carolina.

But, for the other two, Which planet are you on? Dubé is a 3rd liner paired with Kylington (who is expendable) along with a 2nd for a top line winger on a great contract.
Milan Lucic is a cap dump and would cost a 2nd to move. Canucks paid a 9th overall for him and we are not taking some low 28th overall selection for him. Monahan cost a 1st. So will Lucic. It is a pathetic offer for Vancouver. Right now, we are only trading one of them if you are offering high picks or prospects. However, you have no prospects of interest outside of Pelletier and Coronato

PHI says no thanks....none of those players are actually what theyre missing (top end talent), they have a young deep defense, (Provorov, Sanheim, Deangelo, Zamula are all 26 yrs old or less, with Cam York, Andrae, Attard on the way, Ristolinen is just 28 too) and a dozen young guys who can play bottom 6.

Koneckny led the team in pts last year on a team that couldn;t score, missed 4 of its top 6 forwards for 20+ games, has started the year great (without 2 of their top 6 forwards), and is on a great contract

Dube WAS a 3rd liner and still scored more goals than Konecny last season with 30% LESS Ice Time and 1/3 the Power Play Time.

Dube's Bigger, Stronger, Better Defensively, Kills Penalties and is Dangerous Offensively Short Handed. Dube's a Better Fit for CGY and ready for his Breakout Season; I see him matching Konecny's Offensive Output this season if he stays on the 2nd line like he is now. Dube's just as, if not MORE valuable to us than Konecny would be, especially given his Cap Hit. Not sure why PHI would want/need another LD, but I'm absolutely fine to offer and part with Kylington + 2nd + a Sweetener for Konecny, but we don't want to give up BOTH Mackey & Kylington imo

I'd much prefer Garland over Konecny as he would help us Score More at Even Strength and is Better Defensively, but he's small. The reason this deal doesn't happen though is the fact I just don't see Lucic going anywhere or us paying to dump him. Sutter's too loyal and values Lucic for what he brings both on and off the ice. CGY will have plenty of Cap Space at the Deadline, so have absolutely no need to dump Lucic for Cap Space. If CGY's going to pay TWO 1sts, it's going to be for a Super Star. I'm game to acquire Garland, but it'll have to be for a different trade package

Bear might be worth a late 2nd/3rd, but CGY has absolutely no need for him and they won't part with Stone; we value him & his loyalty too much to give him up and Stone doesn't want to be anywhere else other than CGY
