As ironic as it sounds. I don’t think Pittsburgh moves Pettersson for Boeser 😂. He’s been one of our better defencemen and I don’t think we can afford to move him right now especially with Dumo struggling and other dmen struggling as well.

Columbus isn’t making that trade unless Horvat comes with an extension, they aren’t in a place to be making trades for rentals or really even be moving futures.

I especially like the Horvat trade to CBJ (if CBJ can extend him). This makes sense for CBJ and so much sense for VAN. I think return is fair. CBJ have a very full prospect pool and could afford to gamble a bit.
Both FLA and BUF can do with some defense men depth. And WPG could do with another top 9 caliber forward.

Only PIT and WSH trades I wonder if they really would make. I don't think PIT need another right winger, and can't lose a defense men right now.
It is possible that WSH needs a winger more than a center but I think they are all in on the 'McMichael' train, and might not do the trade because of that.

I think the Sabres would be crazy to not do that.

“ all in on the 'McMichael' train” he’s played 15 minutes total this year. Lav hates him / he’s been playing meh

I should have said last I've heard. But yeah I noticed he doesn't seem to be a regular in the lineup. Either way you seem like a caps fan and if this is good in your eyes then I obviously was in the wrong.
DogDayCaps2 liked this.

Columbus sucks more than you do, head to head not withstanding. They're not buyers. That said, I do like this deal, though.

Yes Buffalo could use RHD!
What did Schenn cost in the past:
2019-Jan-16 Traded from Anaheim Ducks with round 7 pick in the 2020 draft (Viktor Persson) to Vancouver Canucks for Michael Del Zotto
2019-Jul-01 Signed by Tampa Bay Lightning
2021-Jul-28 Signed by Vancouver Canucks
A bottom pairing RHD's value is less than a 5th much less a 3rd!

Bear would be a better target, but either one would only cost a "B" prospect.
Arttu Ruotsalainen or Oskari Laaksonen should be sufficient.
