The Sabres are a team on the rise, they're not taking negative value players, let alone sending anything of substance back. If you want to unload Muzzin you're giving up a 1st and getting back a 5th

Different draft years have different value. 23 is shaping out to be one of the best drafts ever.

If muzzin stays on LTIR then no need for first trade and Jarnkrot probably doesn;t need a 3rd included to move him.

But are an older fast, glendening, bjugstad better than what we have now? And how is Murray and his 4.6mil still on LTIR? Murray isn;t retiring and is due back from LTIR, so that kind of blows the whole thing out of the water, unless murray is the one in the BUFF deal, but again I think youre losing a 1st and Hirvonen to get someone to take him and not getting back high in the round 2nd rounder.

ABSOLUTELY NOT from the Sabres
1- Hrvonen isn’t wanted or needed by us, we are absolutely loaded with forward prospects & have a bunch of young forwards on our roster already (so not much room for forwards coming up)
2- ZERO interest in Muzzin, & a late 1st doesn’t hold much value for us anyways.
