Honestly can’t see either team making that trade. Columbus doesn’t have any need for wings, they need better centers to get more from their wings and Toronto needs Robertson’s ELC too much to trade him for a rental and a low 3rd round pick.

That and Muzzin is all but retired on ltir. Roberston does seem like a winger that would fit the age group of Sillinger and Johnson. Could be good in the future. But I think if there were a trade it would be at the deadline and involve futures rather than an nhl ready player.

Jackets already have Laine, texier, marchenko, bemstrom, KJ, chinakhov and more as wingers under the age of 25. Winger is the last position they need unless they are already an established star. Not enough minutes to develop guys as is. Nyquist can be had half retained for a first or 2nd+

Texier is not playing, all but Laine and Gaudreau are behind Robertson.

Nah kent Johnson is a way better prospect. Marchenko is looking great in the AHL. Chinakhov has improved from last year. Texier will be back next year. No playing time is available for Robertson on the jackets

Lol... the guy leading the leafs in points per 60 can't get any ice in the power house jackets? Also I included johnson and Sillinger as centres.

There would be plenty of ice time available with the CBJ if Jarmo would use Cleveland to develop players instead of the NHL.
