Murray returning isn't really going to hurt the Leafs. If he's bad and can't get back on track he would probably be getting less starts. They won't be better off with or without him at this point. The real loss is Samsonov.

Everything i keep hearing or seeing, Is that he wants to go to the NYR to play with his buddy Panarin. I can't see him waiving for any Canadian team when he's an American that has played in the States his entire career.

His comments about the Oilers team after playing them seemed to me like he would like to play with them, but I think ultimately he would rather play with his buddy Panarin and perhaps he wants to stay on an original 6 team too, plus he's from the area.

So many Leaf fans are so delusional. When a Leaf goes on LTIR, they think it's a get outta cap hell free card. Are Muzzin and Murray on LTIR for this season and next? Seems to be the thought for so many. I if Tavares has the flu, some Leafs fans will be trading for Horvat or another centre cause Tavares will be LTIR for almost four years.

Both McDavid and Draisaitl were impressive in their game against them this season, and that they have come a long way since Hawks knocked the Oilers out in the qualifying round. I do think though that they need to upgrade their defense for him to truly consider them.
