Future Leafs saviour Soshyyyy! Coincidentally, after he ended up not being the Leafs saviour, he was traded for a 4th rounder who ended up being the guy that was supposed to be last years saviour, Nick Abruzzese! Amazing how the wheel turns.

Typically, I agree with your takes. But, not sure where this whole "Abruzzese was supposed to be a savior" narrative came from? Yeah, I'm sure there were plenty of Leafs fans excited to see another young guy crack the roster. But savior? Don't think that's entirely accurate.

All good...Meant more as a "Oh hey this guy is going to jump right into the lineup and be able to play top 6 immediately! He dominated the NCAA!!!", which was certainly the narrative that was happening around here last year (a lot) between when his NCAA season finished (solid year), and when he stepped on the ice for the Leafs (not so solid). Savior was a bit of a stretch on my end...I guess I meant it more as an all encompassing "Putting hopes into a prospect that you've never seen said prospect play is a hilariously dangerous game to play", which is certainly off track.

Lou always needs to have “his guys” on the roster. He might let his accountant be the 13 F next season

It’s not like he’ll get claimed, why not?

I recall "Bracco Fever" and "Robertson Mania." Now it's "Knies Pandemonium." But I don't recall "Abracadabra Adulation."

Oof, Bracco Fever. Those were dark times.
