Habs might get Bedard, but I highly doubt Florida trades Knight and not for future picks. They will want their 2023 pick back not 2024 and 2025 picks.

Pipe Dreams!!! At this rate the HABS will make the playoffs!!! Time to unload, Hoffman, Dadonov, & Drouin and bring up Kids to at least try to tank it

They need to sit Harris, Ghule and Xekhaj and play Wideman, Scheuneman & Barron and then we might have a chance for Bedard

Lol at most Mitchkov slides to 5th due to the Russian factor. If he goes any lower than that it is because he wasn't good enough to be a top 2-3 pick by draft time.

Why is Florida selling? They are a contender, and why is Montreal selling their future when they are going to be drafting in the top 10 for like 4 more years

No they won't. They're rebuilding right now and still three points ahead of the Flames and statistically better in several categories. Yet, the Flames are "contenders"...maybe you'll be drafting in the top 10?

Lol ok man, last time I checked were less than 15 games into the season, the Habs have played 2 more games, and aren't missing 3 of their top 6 defensemen.
Also what categories are the habs better?
SF/60: Flames are 3rd, Habs are 22nd
SA/60: Flames are 7th, Habs are 13th
CF/60: Flames are 5th, Habs are 25th
CA/60: Flames are 11th, Habs are 17th
xGF/60: Flames are 14th, Habs are 25th
xGA/60: Flames are 12th, Habs are 23rd

Also the Flames have only played 1 team that currently has less than 14 points and thats the Penguins. The Habs have only beaten 2 teams with more points than them, the Red Wings and the Leafs. Montreal also currently has more points than the Avalanche too does than make them vetter than Colorado?

Shipping Hoffman, Dadonov and Drouin would probably decrease the odds of the Habs getting Bedard, all 3 have been total dog isht this season.

Don`t be surprised if Hoffman is an Oiler soon. He has 4 goals in last 2 games.

3 in 2.

I don't know about him though, teams have to be willing to take on that extra year, unless Hughes retains some salary to make the second year more palatable.

But yeah, he's the most productive of the 3 current non-producers.

Would they want the side baggage of Hoffman? There is a reason a guy who has his ability to score goals can't stay anywhere.
