Hawks like Colton, has looked pretty good recently and shot up their prospect chart. I can't see us trading him for a guy who has 1 goal in the AHL

But does he win faceoffs? According to hawks fans that is all that matters when it comes to a Dach

I don't know if CHI brass would decline, but I certainly would. I like Colton a lot. Might be a stretch but I have seen play from him that makes me wonder if he could be better than Kirby some day. Kirby's recent play with MTL has certainly tipped the scales in his favor quite a bit, but I still think it's possible.

This is only scratching the surface of Kirby's talent. He wins board battles, excellent vision, his impeccable zone entries, his wing span creates so much offense just with his ability to reach pucks. That is quite the stretch. He's looking like another Getzlaf even if it's on the wing. I dont think they could have found a better option on the market to play with a smart player at center like Suzuki and a pure goal scorer like Caufield.

Cool. I don't doubt Dach could become something like that, but when it comes to him, I'll believe it when I see it consistently. We saw flashes like this a few times in CHI too, and then he would just disappear for very long stretches. I am willing to bet a lot of that was Colliton's awful coaching and mismanagement of Dach from top to bottom, but again, I'll believe it when I see it and see it consistently for long stretches from him.
