Let's put it this way. This is the first few games for Campbell on a 5 years overpaid contract...kinda like Koskenin was, hmmm. Campbell holds the net, but cannot steal games for Edmonton. Shades of terrifying for a oilers fan.

I agree that Edmonton need defender help. Not sure what you would change? Trade Barrie? Or is it left defense?

I think many Oilers fans miss Koskinen at this point and would trade him for Campbell. Koskinen glove hand was always his achilles but Campbell is a new level of terrible. He's whiffed on some muffins from far out glove side, It's kinda shocking for a professional goalie.

I'm not pretending otherwise. But "getting wins" isn't a good reason that he should be demoted to the AHL. He has more wins than most NHL goalies.
