I’d imagine that the Canadian teams are on Petry’s NTC since he wanted out of MTL due to the fact that Canada has too strict of covid policies and couldn’t see his family during the season.

Dumolin is looking more and more like a cap dump every day. You might be able to squeeze a 2nd out of him if he can turn things around a bit by the TDL and there is a lot of retention, but not from AZ. I do think Kapanen is interesting and could be better in the right situation, but trade value isn't determined by gut feelings, he isn't worth a 2nd either. Petry you could definitely get a 2nd or better out of, but like Hockeyfan1234 said, he isn't going to Canada.

What policies are those, Almost all of them are gone

Well to go home and see his family in the US during the season, to come back to Canada he’d need to quarantine for 14 days. That was supposedly one of the reasons he wanted out of MTL.

It's probably because it did happen and could happen again if Covid were to unexpectedly spike up again.
