You have 2 RD men signed long term and Nemec. Blackwood will be fine long term and if not Vanacek is more than capable. If this puts you into actual contender mode, I think you don't worry about those depth pieces

Kane hasn't had a true #1C or even 2C in like 5 years. C impacts defensive play far greater than the W so if you have bad Cs all the time, your numbers will suffer. He gets that #1 C with Hughes and I guarantee he would explode.

Don't know enough about Mukhamadullin, but the Hawks have two great RHD prospects in Regula and Mitchell plus jones signed long term in addition to not needing Daws given a strong goalie pipeline so don't see them interested in this package given the 1st is the only really useful value to them. Probably would just rather hang on to Kane given the revenues he brings to the team alone.

Mukhamadullin is big, long-reach, highly skilled dman. Very high ceiling, no floor type. He has all the tools, skating, shot, etc just a little thin and a little raw. He is currently 2nd in KHL in scoring for under-25 dmen.
