SJ probably declines, doesn't seem like much of a benefit in that trade for them, so they might as well not make it especially since they are taking on contracts. The Vancouver trade is a gross overpay for for Schenn, giving up a 2nd or 3rd is enough of an overpay to acquire him. A 3rd + Holl is more than enough, since Holl can replace him and some.

Vancouver too may decline, depending on what taking all that cap and the extra roster player would mean for their team.

Kerfoot is not the worst player of all time folks. As good as Schenn is why send Kerfoot away with a pick and prospect?

Vancouver declines. Maybe if the 3rd were a 1st, we'd consider it.

You haven't offered SJS anything for a NHL forward. An overpay by the Leafs for Schenn. C'mon

So a tiny 24yrs old AHL D man, a 4th and the legend of Joey anderson... arent you aiming low? That package should get you an all star

Why see this a lot on CF posts. Veteran AHLers in NHL trades. They have been in the AHL for four or more years for a reason, they aren't NHLers.

Luke Schenn is a stay at home hitting machine making $850k. Trading Kerfoot and Holl is a huge overpay before adding a 3rd. Asking for the 3rd upgraded to a 1st is beyond silly.

The Leaf overvalue of Joey Anderson is just funny to me
