I hope the Sens don't get Bedard. They have enough talented young studs already. 😲

You probably won’t be seeing anything like that for Cat. He’s on pace for 21 goals, and 65 points, and Ottawa paid a cheaper price for him in the summer expecting 40 goals

Um or Adam Fantilli? He's almost as good as Bedard.

He's got the same amount of points right now as he had last year at the same point; he's playing great and those assists will become goals soon. Plus we paid a top-10 pick for him and a second and third - I imagine New Jersey's 1st will be late (especially with DeBrincat on board) so I honestly think it's a pretty reasonable price

Lol, 1OA is basically already in the Ducks hands. We JUST won our first game in regulation yesterday.

Get ready for a McTavish Bedard Zelwegger reunion tour.

OP, you guys are fantasticly talented on offense, it's really the D core that's letting you down, that can be repaired.

You guys are gonna beat us tomorrow and be on your way lol. We've lost 10 of our last 12 and the two we won were against Philly and Vancouver lmao

Batherson is a great player but Calgary is simply not trading Tanev

We'll see what they do if they exit early again (or somehow don't make it at all)

Why are the Sens getting more for DeBrincat than what they just paid?

And even if they get a top 10 pick in 2023, they're probably trading that pick for a defenseman or a goalie.

Also our bottom 6 is literal ass. Our third line should be our fourth and our fourth just gets HEMMED. That's why I make trades like the new jersey one here, I want depth

If they get 1OA, they're not trading it, obviously if it's 6th or something they probably will. And prices change - I don't think DeBrincat's been bad, prices always get higher near the deadline, and I don't even think NJ is paying that much more when you consider how high our pick was and how low theirs might be this year

That they've heavily modified recently, yes, we're all aware. At this rate, worst the Ducks pick is 3rd. That still gets us Fantili or that Russian kid.

Sure, anything can happen in the offseason but he definitely won't be moved before then. Highly unlikely he wpuld even waive anyways

I mentioned in the description that the move would only be able to happen in the off-season but yeah for sure

Ducks would be a good team for Michkov. He can't come to the NHL until 2026, but he might be the best player in the draft after Bedard.

Holtz is a very good prospect, not sure NJ add their 2024 1st on top of that. DeBrincat is a good winger, Sens should keep him unless he wants out.

Yeah I love DeBrincat, I'm definitely not against keeping him, I just also feel like we're gonna do the same thing we did last year - play well enough in the new year that we still don't make the playoffs but also don't get a high pick

It'll be interesting to see if his unavailability causes him to drop, and who takes a flyer on him if that's the case. While he is advertised as unavailable, I've never seen a Russian contract that a properly greased palm didn't suddenly make disappear.

Sens need a goalie and a top 4 RHD. They should trade for Chychrun as soon as they can. If the price is too high, Savard would be a decent plan B.

If not, they're gonna miss the playoffs and Dorion might lose his job over this. But he probably keeps his job anyway until new owners buys the team.

I think a team still rebuilding for 2-3 more years will draft Michkov and wait for him.

If money can fix his contract issue and he can move to the NHL soon, he probably is drafted 2 or 3.

Ducks look to be set at center with Zegras and McTavish, maybe they draft him? A lot of center in the top 6, but there's 2 good winger. Michkov and Benson.

Your own worst enemy is the price you paid, and what you’re asking is more value than that.
if he sparks later on. If he came with an extension, maybe Ottawa can get a bidding war going to shoot past that price, but with only a few months left in his contract, and his current pace, that just isn’t a likely price
