Description
LA and MTL fans, what would be your reaction if this trade happened?
LAK have a lot of good RD prospects but not that many LD
It is the opposite for MTL.

Both hve similar development curves. Bergevin surely would recommand Harris to Blake and Durzi could join his good friend Suzuki.

I feel like Durzi is what the Habs hope Harris will become in a couple of years, a legit top 4 dman. So in my opinion Habs would have to add a sweetener to make this work. And I’m a Habs and Harris fan.

Harris is way better defensively but Durzi have better tools offensively

I proposed this last week and was told by all the LA fans that Durzi is already playing RHLD and so I should go stick it!

I had added a sweetener.

Personally I think the Habs have too many LHD players if they are now playing Guhle top pair as a LHRD at his 21st game of his rookie season.

I think that Montreal might have to add a sweetener here, but I wouldn't break out the torches and pitchforks if it was a 1-for-1.

I missed your earlier post and I have now corrected my oversight. As I said there, if Montreal added the Canadiens' 2023 third-round pick, I would be charmed with this exchange. Durzi is developing into a fine offensive defenseman, but we can afford to move him with Clarke, Spence and Grans in the pipeline.

Habs arent giving up a young d man unless the player is significantly better. Youre looking at more of a Edmundson + picks for Durzi

Duzri is a tire fire back there. Not sure he's the right guy to target. Harris is good at moving the puck but he's kinda soft as well. Don't really think either fan base will like this deal

Harris is going to be way overrated by the metrics crowd in a year or 2. I almost want him gone so I dont have to hear about him like Avs fans talk about Girard in complete ignorance.

They need more D like Guhle that can skate and play the body otherwise they'll become redundant like the Ducks defence rn.

Didn't Harris/Bergevin have some sort of beef? For awhile Jordan Harris was threatening not to sign with the Habs then Hughes arrives and bingo! Not sure of all the details but I don't think Bergevin being in LA aids this idea of a trade. He's too busy becoming a beach bum, getting another sleeve tattoo in his late 50's like an old rock star while sun tanning in Santa Monica.
