Both teams will decline. I prefer Hintz over Suzuki, but there will be a plethora of Habs fans who are going to disagree with the notion.

I wouldn't do that if I was DAL, accutally I don't even think I would do that as MTL. They have too good chemistry with their line mates to do that gamble I think.

Not really a necessary trade for either team. Id prefer Roope over Suzuki just slightly.

That said, Suzuki is a really good player.

Early development, higher draft stock, getting an early chance to compete in the NHL right after being traded from Vegas to MTL without netting any AHL games.

Hintz has made it to the top via a more traditional route, which is typical for Dallas draftees, developing first in Finland, then playing in AHL for a year and a half. Plus, Hintz was a mid 2nd rounder when he got drafted, compared to Suzuki who could've gone in Top10.

Suzuki is 3 years younger, yet he has only 30 games less experience compared to Hintz in NHL.

Hintz and Robertson have some serious chemistry, that alone might be reason for DAL to say no but neither team does it.
