IDK, Calgary really needs depth scoring that can play with some toughness. Tree is going to be feeling pressure after the high expectations of this year continue to dwindle.

Bjugstad definitely isn’t worth a 2nd

Sure I’d rather have him than Kevin Rooney, but he’s maybe worth a late pick at best

He hasn’t played a full season for years because he’s prone to injuries

Bahhh, you are right. Meant to make it a top 10 protected with a 2024 swap.

I’m certain Radim Zohorna is just as good if not better than Bjugstad, otherwise we also have Ben Jones and Cole Schwindt

I can’t see Joshua Brown bringing a 3rd Round Pick either.

I know Big RD’s are typically in demand, but he’s currently a Healthy Scratch

I would think if that 1st is Top 10 protected Buffalo does that trade.

Would definitely need to be. Also, any chance we could flip Johnson out for Mittelstadt? Arizona has plenty of Cap Space but Mittelstadt is still relatively cheap ($2.5AAV thru 23-24) and is a center.

I agree overall, but would like to pair Johnson as an asset in a secondary deal on Buffalo’s end for a goalie, which they need… desperately.
