Swap Bichsel with Harley and Dallas accepts. Bichsel's NHL ETA aligns pretty well with Suter's contract expiring. Harley is NHL ready, and is unfortunately buried on the depth chart. If Dallas is trading a top LD prospect, Harley is the one that will be on the table, IMO

Detroit passes, We like Perron.

Krug isn't waiving for Arizona, plus Doug Armstrong isn't dealing Jordan Kyrou after just giving him an 8 year extension.

Did you forget to put a first round pick in the Detroit trade? Not much incentive for Detroit to do that.
Arizona is absolutely not trading their first round picks.

Chychrun and a likely top 3 pick for Krug and Kyrou? This isn’t chel, Arizona doesn’t even consider. Good players, not worth the price you want.

I’m not sure the Krug wouldn’t go to Arizona. Also, Kyrou has demonstrated that he either will not or cannot play the game the way Berube and Ott would like him to. Combine that with his contract and what appears to be the frustration of his teammates with him, I think Armstrong has to admit his mistakes and move him.

About that first round draft pick, you make a valid point. My bad. On the other hand, Bill Armstrong won’t get a better offer for Chychrun than Kyrou and some baggage. And, let’s face it, neither of these teams is going to go anywhere in the playoffs for the next few years and AZ has the cap space to carry Krug. Both teams look better long-term under this scenario. I’ll edit out the draft pick.

Until you stop trading Kyrou, let alone for less valuable things, none of these will be much to discuss. It's kooky.
