Lol, he won thay Jack Adams just last year and was also just signed to an extension. He's not getting fired for at least a year or 2

He also alienates talent. I'd prefer it if we just traded as many player as possible and dressed the wranglers. This team isn't winning anything this year. We're just playing out selves out of a decent pick.

I like it. I mean, this team probably won't win still, but it's a start

I know, it’s just click bait lol

I’m starting to believe Gaudreau & Tkachuk & Markstrom won Sutter that Jack Adams and that Sutter’s the main reason Gaudreau & Tkachuk left

Sutter’s line combinations absolutely suck and I’m just done with it. His decision to play Lewis and especially Lucic every night is beyond questionable 🤨

The numbers aren't. This team reeks of mediocrity. Show me something that says otherwise.

Gaudreau's +/- before last year is more than enough proof that's not true. He was horrible defensively at 5v5.

You’re helping make my point for me.

Gaudreau was playing for his next long term contract extension, so put far more effort in as a result. Having Tkachuk, who was also playing for his next long term contract, on his wing and them both having career years is what lead the Flames to have the season and the rest of the Flames Players to play as confidently as they did

Sutter’s definitely not getting the best out of his players this season, that’s for sure. And what’s their incentive!?

How am I proving your point? If anything Tkachuk's play this year completely disproves it.

My point is Sutter taught Johnny to play a strong 5v5 game

Lol, Riggghhhhhhhttttt…

You go with that and I’ll go with he was playing for his next contract and had a beast of an opposite winger k.

If Sutter was so good at teaching defence, maybe all the lines other than Backlund’s wouldn’t suck defensively so much at even strength. The 2nd & 4th lines are simply atrocious and the 1st line is majorly under performing offensively.

Sutter’s in my dog house right now. He needs to open up his mind to the fact the Flames are too slow and old. It’s a much Younger & Faster game than he’s accustomed too

Well said and I don’t see how anybody could argue otherwise.

Flames are great on paper, but something’s off and not right in that locker room.

Maybe that Jack Adams Trophy has gone to Sutter’s head and he’s become so dug in and stubborn that he’ll continue to do the same thing over and over until it produces results

Well we’re 25 games in and it’s not working and certainly won’t get us where we want to be. At want point does Sutter get over himself and his insanity

I agree you on Sutter. He ain't going to change.
Regardless of who was coach, IMO Tkachuk and Gaudreau were leaving. But Huberdeau and Kadri aren't equal replacement. The fact that Hubie got an extension and 31 year old Kadri is on a seven year deal, I just can't see the Flames get better long term...only worse.

Darryl won't be fired. If/maybe when things go sideways, you'll see a mutual parting of ways. Something he did when he left LA and CGY in his first tenure.

Yes, I know that’s your opinion and it’s a fair point, but I believe Hunderdeau is better than Gaudreau and that Kadri can replace Tkachuk, in fact we should try him at 1RW

We’re trying to win now, so we’ll deal with the bad contracts later and in the future, but if we don’t focus on now it’ll have all been for nothing and yes, will eventually be detrimental

Tkachuk is a BEAST, Gaudreau is a POS LITTLE TWERP
